Remembrance Day Art in Year 3

Our year 3 Historians delve into change, culture and civilisations. In the Autumn term they think about what life was like for hunter-gathers through a study of the Stone Age. This is followed and built upon in the spring term by looking at life in the Iron Age. Throughout both terms, a focus on life, homes and weaponry is maintained to allow for comparisons to be made. In the summer term year 3, we answer the question of who were the Ancient Egyptians? A study of the earliest civilisations covers ancient hierarchies and achievements of significant individuals.
