History Chronology
We compared what our school looked like and how it has changed since 1957 until now. We compared this to how schools have changed since the Victorian Times. We used the VR headsets to look at pictures of Queen Victoria and Victorian schools and role played with Victorian schools with our Year 5 friends.
Science Working Scientifically
Children worked hard in Year 1 to investigate foot lengths and heights to find out if a larger foot size meant that you were taller. The children made predictions and comparisons by observing and then measuring to find out if their predictions were correct.
Science classifying common animals with feathers, scales, fur and hair.
Computing
We have been using Beebots to give instructions and using online Beebot programmes to make our robots move.
