Year 6 History

Visit to the War Museum Autumn 2023

In year 6, our budding historians begin by studying Britain at war in the Autumn term, considering the impact of WW2 on the people of Britain, thinking about themes of democracy and oppression. In the spring term they consider polar expeditions and explorations using the theme of significance. In the Summer term they look at democracy through the study of Ancient Greece and the impact that the ancient Greeks had on our lives today.
