The Blackburn Children's Literature Festival celebrated it's fifth year in October 2023 and all of our  Key Stage 2 children were able to celebrate the wonders of literature by visiting Blackburn library together.

Our pupils had the opportunity to meet the talented Blackburn born author, Christina Gabbitas where she shared her creative journey and hosted interactive workshops which captivated the minds of our pupils. 

We are confident that the Blackburn Children's Literature Festival has supported our school vision and positively impacted our children in fostering a love for reading for all our pupils.
